Are You Feeling Overwhelmed?
Whether this is your first baby or you are caring for others, you understand the responsibility of parenting. It can be overwhelming, especially if you are feeling alone.
Maybe a parent or friend said, “I’ll be there for you.” And you now realize that isn’t going to happen. Or, the baby’s father said he would help you financially, but he’s nowhere to be found. Circumstances change. Are you wondering what to do?
Finding The Best Solution
It doesn’t matter if you are still in the hospital or already home. It’s never too late to change plans. You are in control. No one should pressure or manipulate you into choosing anything other than what is best for you, this child, and your future. The decision is yours.
We want to help you find the best solution. If your choice is to parent, we’ll help you with referrals for housing, food, medical care, and more. If you choose to make an adoption plan, we will walk you through every step of the process and beyond with counseling and support groups.
Can I Still Place My Child For Adoption?
A Gift of Hope Adoptions has placed newborns, infants, toddlers, and young children with adoptive couples. We are confident there is a loving family eager to adopt your child too.
When placing your child for adoption, you want a plan in place to know what to expect. As the birth mother, you have complete control over who raises your child, the environment they grow up in, and how much contact you would like to have. The plan you choose is based on how much private information you wish to share.
This is a big decision, and we will never downplay how painful it is. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. It doesn’t mean you are committing. It just means you are thinking about it and want to know more.
